BIO: Mitch's Bio

22 years ago on the cold winter afternoon of Jan. 23, at 4:04 p.m. Robert Mitchell Martin was born into this beautiful world!! Man was I a cute baby. I give much credit too my two loving and very supportive parents Bob and Jean Ann who are recently celebrating 32 wonderful years of an amazing marriage. I give mad thanks to them both for both totally supporting me in everything I do. and their great, loving and patient hearts. I also credit them for giving me their good looks and mostly my dad for my mad dancing skills!!! Oh Yeah !!!

I've been playin' drums ever since I was 9 years old, and if my memory serves me correctly which it usually does, I've wanted to play drums ever since I was 6 years old. Being a Bucket Boy for the last five years has truly been an incredible, awesome gift from God !!! It's been the most amazing experience ever. It's pretty close to being a rock star. It's like living out one of my dreams!!! I love Vince w/ all of my heart and am thankful that God's put him in my life to do this whole thing. Our friendship is one that I hold truly close to my heart. I couldn't be where I'm at here today without him.

I spent two years at Lincoln College studying Music Education. Other than being a fulltime Bucket Boy I do have a real job. It's one that I totally love and I totally enjoy all my co-employees that I work with !!!! I work full time at the Player's Bench Music store in downtown Crystal Lake, IL where I mainly focus working the percussion department. I also teach drum lessons there.

I believe performing for people of all ages is my most favorite thing ever...It's what fuels me to live in this crazy world. Getting the chance to do it everyday with one of my best friends, is priceless. To be a role model to kids in our community is something I'm very proud to be a part of. To close this out I'll just give you a few favorite things that Mitch really likes or is interested in: favorite color-Navy Blue, favorite movie- Tommy Boy, favorite game- Connect Four Tournaments and Foosball.
